• Obtain a 1 gallon jug to be used only for fish water, Fill the jug with water and wait until it is room temperature (around 70 degrees).
• Use a water Conditioner to remove chlorine in the water.
• Fill the bowl about ¾ full
• Float your new fish in its bag in the bowl for about 15-20 minutes. Release the fish by pouring the bag water through a net over a bucket or bowl, and then place the fish from the net into the bowl. Bag water should not be added to the bowl.

• Feed daily a small amount of food that the fish consumes within a few minutes.
• Change the bowl water once a week. Place the fish in a separate container with the old water. Pour out the bowl, rinse and wipe out with a paper towel. Never use soap. Refill the bowl with jug water and put the fish back in. Refill the jug as above for the next time.
