3 Secrets to a Successful Aquarium

Owning an aquarium can be great fun, here are some tips to give you success.

H20 Q= Water Quality  This involves the measurement of Temperature, pH, Ammonia, Nitrate,
Hardness, and if algae is an issue Nitrates and Phosphates. Test kits are available at Eddie's or use our FREE expert water analysis and consultation services. To use this service bring Eddie's 1 cup of aquarium water in a clean container (zip top bags work well.)

Mix- A harmonious mix of fish species is very important. Our staff of aquatic specialist will be happy to make recommendations. Bringing in a list of the species you currently have will be very helpful.

Nutrition- Feeding a good variety of quality foods will help maintain the immune system of your aquatic animals . We recommend using 3-5 types of food which should consist of dry foods and frozen foods. Ask us for a recommendation!
